A bit about me

I’ve been behind the chair for over 22 years *cough*, yet I am still intrigued by the art of haircutting and get a lot of joy in the creative process. I like to balance technical precision, playful texture, and bold silhouettes. As a haircutting specialist I do all lengths and most textures of hair, from stick straight, to thick curls, and fine waves.

I was very lucky at the start of my career to meet and work beside my mentor Tony Shiraki, I didn’t know that haircutting could be an artform until I met him. Thanks to Tony I understand there is always more to learn. I have had the opportunity to travel the globe training with top educators in the industry and am continuously curious and inspired by life itself.

I’m currently working in my own Salon Suite, so I have a space all to myself. I want people from all walks of life to feel welcome and comfortable in my salon. If you are someone like me with sensory sensitivities please don’t hesitate to ask for what you need, weather that be a silent appointment, or getting that one stray hair off your nose.

Outside the salon I expresses my creativity through music, solo funky dance parties, singing, and general shenanigans and rebellion.
